Each White Oak frame (rib) is steamed & bent to shape 

over a form and clamped for 24 hours to dry.

After all 26 frames on this boat are installed, 1/2" thick cedar planking is attached to the frames 

with approximately 1200 copper rivets.

 

 

All planked and removed from the form, the interior work begins. 		  

        		  

       

 

 

.Mahogany seats and rails give this 13' Catspaw sailing dinghy an elegant feel.
